Gary Flink is one of the two owners and directors of EXCEL Orthopedic Rehabilitation. He graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelors degree in 1986. He went on to attend physical therapy school at Long Island University, where he earned a second Bachelors degree, as well as a Masters degree in Physical Therapy and graduated with the highest honors Summa Cum Laude in 1989. A competitive triathlete, Gary is a 4-time Ironman finisher, and has qualified twice for and completed the Ironman Triathlon World Championship held each year in Kona, Hawaii. Gary is also a musician, photographer and avid fly fisherman.
Matthew Gibble is one of the two owners and directors of EXCEL Orthopedic Rehabilitation. After receiving his Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University in 1986, he went on to work at a sports medicine facility in New York City. There he was involved for three years with the New York Knicks, where he provided their long-term physical therapy, as well as their pre-season and pre-signing orthopedic evaluations. A competitive triathlete, Matt has successfully completed Ironman USA in Lake Placid, N.Y. three times! He also enjoys fishing and boating in his spare time.
Seth serves as the Chief Financial Officer of EXCEL Orthopedic Rehabilitation. In his role, he is responsible for the company’s accounting, budgeting and forecasting, cash management, financial planning, reporting, legal and regulatory compliance, revenue cycle, risk management and tax, as well as human resources and IT.
Seth graduated with a B.S.B.A. in Finance from The Ohio State University and a J.D. from New York Law School. He is licensed to practice law in New York State. Seth is an avid OSU Buckeyes fan and enjoys traveling and working out. Originally from Dresden, Ohio, Seth currently resides in Manhattan.

Adrienne joined the EXCEL team in September of 2005 as our Clinical Liaison. She graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with her A.S. in Physical Therapist Assistance and a B.S. in Kinesiology. Adrienne incorporates her years of clinical experience, along with her enthusiasm and passion to help others, to promote EXCEL and its unmatched and unique approach to providing quality care. She was also an adjunct professor for the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Bergen Community College from 2004-2006.
Elizabeth graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a Minor in Psychology. She began working at EXCEL in 2001 as a part-time secretary/receptionist and in January of 2002 she joined the billing department and is our Senior Accounts Manager.
Bryan is the clinic manager for our Montvale and Old Tappan offices, as well as a regional manager for Excel. He grew up in Fitchburg, MA, and graduated from Springfield (MA) College with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. He moved to New Jersey after college and worked at another outpatient orthopedic clinic before joining Excel in the fall of 2002. Bryan has taken continuing education coursework in a variety of areas including shoulder, knee, hip, and cervical and lumbar spine. He has attended seminars to broaden his scope of practice to incorporate techniques including kinesiotaping, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), and advanced joint mobilization. He specializes in sports medicine, and as an Ironman finisher has developed a specific interest in treating runners, swimmers, cyclists, & multi-sport athletes. Outside of the office, Bryan can be seen around Bergen and Rockland Counties training for his next triathlon, or enjoying time with his wife cooking or exploring NYC.
Lauren is the clinic manager for our Waldwick office. Lauren graduated with honors, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (USP) with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Science in Health Science. She received several awards for her academic and professional accomplishments. While at USP, Lauren was a member of many organizations, including the Women’s Basketball Team, the Physical Therapy Club, and two National Honor Societies. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys exercising, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Upon graduating from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor’s Degree, John went on to attend physical therapy school at the College of Staten Island where he earned a second Bachelor’s Degree in Science as well as a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy, graduating with Highest Honors. He furthered his education by earning a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy. During his career, John has worked with patients ranging in age from 3 months to 98 years and athletes from youth to professional levels. In recent years, he has developed a particular interest in treating disorders of the shoulder and knee. Outside of work, John is an avid runner and enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children.
Nicholas graduated with his Masters and Doctorate degrees from Ithaca College. While completing his undergraduate studies, he worked as part of the EXCEL team as a physical therapy aide. Outside of working, Nick loves playing sports, spending time with his family and friends, and enjoying the outdoors.
Kramer earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy with honors from Ithaca College, where he attended their accelerated six year program, minoring in Sport and Exercise Psychology. While at Ithaca, he was a two sport athlete as a high jumper on the track and field team, and a sprinter on the swim team, where he earned all-state and all-conference accolades.
Kramer developed his interest in the Physical Therapy field as a result of extensive experience as a patient in PT clinics, due to the injuries he sustained while participating in various land and water sports. After being accepted into the renowned Ithaca College Physical Therapy program out of high school, he knew he found the perfect career to fit to his active lifestyle!
As a clinician, Kramer has a passion for treating sport/exercise-related injuries, post-operative diagnoses, and injury prevention – particularly concerning the ACL. His clinical experience ranges from working with college and professional athletes, to pediatric and geriatric populations in the outpatient orthopedic settings. By combining manual therapy skills, injury prevention, and current evidence-based research, Kramer’s patients can expect to receive the care that will allow them to best achieve their functional goals.
While in college, Kramer developed a passion for playing golf that has carried over to his career, as he has pursued and earned a certification from the Titleist Performance Institute as a Level 2 Medical Professional - where he utilizes the Body-Swing Connection™ to get his golfers back on the course. He also became certified in the Functional Movement Screen and Selective Functional Movement Assessment, as he believes in treating patients utilizing a “total body approach” to help them return to their healthy, fast-paced lifestyle. As an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning specialist, he uses his background in strength and conditioning to help his patients achieve their maximum potential.
In his free time, Kramer enjoys playing painfully mediocre golf, participating in weekend flag football where he regularly injures himself, self-rehabbing those injuries during the week, hiking, going to concerts, playing guitar, exercising, and traveling with his wife.

Tom is the clinic manager for our Fort Lee office. Tom graduated from Seton Hall University in 2001 with a B.S. in Biology. While there, the program transitioned to a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT), and Tom was a member of the first class to receive the DPT in the state. When not working, Tom enjoys playing hard at team sports such as soccer, basketball, and volleyball.
Anna graduated from Daemen College, Buffalo, NY with a B.S. Degree in Physical Therapy. She started her professional career in New York City working in an outpatient orthopedic clinic with emphasis on sports rehabilitation. Matt grew up in Northern New Jersey playing baseball. During high school, he made a transition from baseball player to lacrosse player. Being that baseball was his first love, and he is an undying New York Yankee fan, he has proclaimed himself a baseball nerd even though he no longer plays.
After graduating from Pascack Valley High School, he studied Biology at the University of Maryland. He continued his studies honing in on physical therapy at Columbia University Medical Center’s doctoral program, where he specialized in orthopedics.
Matt has always been intrigued by the human body’s ability to heal, especially the ankles, knees and lower back. As a PT, he relishes in his ability to help the body heal through therapy, while establishing a personal connection with patients.
His interest in pain science has him working towards receiving a certification as a Therapeutic Pain Specialist. This piqued interest gives Matt the means and confidence to treat patients with chronic pain.
Matt has not only been a PT, but he was a patient in high school. While playing a pick-up football game, he fell on outstretched hands and fractured both of his arms. This lead to a few tough months of recovery, but he credits the physical therapy treatment and the team behind it that got him through it all.
Matt considers himself a budding connoisseur of whiskies —single-malt scotches and bourbons— as well as craft beer. When he has time, he enjoys slow cook barbecuing ribs, brisket and pulled pork in his smoker. His favorite pizza is from Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza. As a baseball nerd, one of Matt’s goals is to make a visit to each of the MLB stadiums.

Nick has a sincere passion for orthopedics and sports. Nick received his BS in Athletic Training at Montclair State University and certification from the National Athletic Trainers Association in 2008. Nick treated high school and college athletes across North Jersey, focusing on injury prevention, assessment and rehabilitation. He then went on to UMDNJ, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Nick is also board certified as an orthopedic specialist (OCS) by the American Physical Therapy Association. Nick enjoys designing personalized rehabilitation programs for every kind of patient, coming up with creative ways to treat anything from overuse or sports-related injuries to post-operative joint replacement. She went on to study medicine abroad before deciding to settle down in New Jersey.
