Rolando Lopez, PT, MSPT, is an experienced physical therapist with more than 20 years of clinical expertise in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation. He earned his Associate of Science degree from Bergen Community Collegein 1995, then went on to receive his Bachelor of Science in Health Science and Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Mercy College in 1999.

Since completing his graduate training, Rolando has worked in both inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and outpatient physical therapy clinics, developing advanced hands-on skills and a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to treatment. He is committed to ongoing professional development and regularly completes continuing education courses to ensure his patients receive the highest quality, up-to-date care.

Rolando specializes in post-surgical rehabilitation and orthopedic physical therapy, including total joint replacement (hip, knee, shoulder, and ankle), spinal surgery rehabilitation, rotator cuff repair, fracture and dislocation recovery, sprains and strains, and chronic neck and back pain. He also has extensive experience treating neurological conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis (MS), ALS, and Parkinson’s disease.

In addition, Rolando works with high school and collegiate athletes to support safe return-to-sport programs, as well as local police officers and firefighters who require strength, mobility, and functional conditioning to safely return to duty. His patient-centered approach focuses on restoring mobility, reducing pain, improving strength, and helping each individual return to the activities and lifestyle they value most.
