The ME in Medicine – Helping You End Your Back Pain

Friday, October 23rd at 5 PM

This week we are joined by North Jersey Brain and Spine neurosurgeon, Dr. Patrick Roth. Dr. Roth has authored “The End of Back Pain” and “The ME in Medicine”, giving healthcare providers and patients alike, the tools to participate in their own healthcare decisions. In this webinar, we’ll be focusing on two main topics:

  1. Dr. Roth’s approach to treating back pain, including pain generators and the mind-body relationship.
  2. Advice for patients to empower themselves in their healthcare treatment journey.

EXCEL President and co-founder, Matt Gibble, PT, is back again to bring us a home exercise program that activates the core that is sometimes overlooked.

We hope you can join us!

Dr. Patrick Roth is the Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery at Hackensack University Medical Center and is a board certified neurosurgeon and founding member of North Jersey Brain and Spine Center. He has dedicated his practice to the care of patients with spinal disorders with a particular interest in minimally invasive surgery and the use of back strengthening to treat back pain. He advocates a holistic approach to patient care with a focus on the promotion of health rather than the treatment of disease. He is the author of “The End of Back Pain” and “The ME in Medicine.”

Matt Gibble, PT is one of the two owners and co-founders of Excel Physical Therapy. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University, he went on to work at a sports medicine facility in New York City. There he was involved for three years with the New York Knicks, where he provided their long-term physical therapy, as well as their pre-season and pre-signing orthopedic evaluations. A competitive triathlete, Matt has successfully completed Ironman USA in Lake Placid, NY three times.

We’re here for you, in-person and online.
