Nicole graduated magna cum laude from Quinnipiac University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Science in Health Science Studies. While at QU, Nicole participated in co-ed intramural basketball (3v3, 5v5) and volleyball. Prior to college, Nicole was a three-sport varsity athlete in basketball, lacrosse, and tennis. 

When Nicole was 16, she experienced a sports-related injury, including tibial stress fractures. Her PT experience was so positive that she couldn’t imagine choosing any other career for herself. Still to this day, she is grateful for pursuing a rewarding profession, which allows her to help others get back to the ‘best versions’ of themselves.

Although Nicole enjoys treating just about any type of injury, she enjoys working with young patients following knee surgeries, as well as both surgical and non-surgical shoulder and ankle injuries. Her own unique experience in outpatient physical therapy at a young age has helped her to better understand and find successful outcomes in treating similar patients on an individual basis. She truly enjoys working as a team and constructing meaningful, sport-specific exercises for all of her patients whenever possible.

Outside of Excel, you can find Nicole in her element anywhere a beach meets the ocean, and she has never missed a vacation to Long Beach Island or Fort Myers Beach with family. If the position actually existed, she could easily classify as a ‘VIP shopper’ for the Marshalls—TJ Maxx—HomeGoods retailers, and she takes pride in finding hidden treasures in all three stores. 

Beyond her passion for physical therapy, Nicole is an avid supporter of the United States military, which was fostered by her profound experience through a loved one serving in the USMC infantry during the War on Terror. While in college, for her capstone project during graduate school, Nicole and her two classmates hosted and organized multiple adaptive sporting events for wounded veterans. Nicole is hoping to continue giving back in the future. She is tremendously proud to be an American!
