EXCEL KICKS OFF FOOD DRIVE TO BENEFIT THE COMMUNITY FOOD BANK OF NJ
Team EXCEL rallies to support our fellow new jerseyans facing food insecurity.
Through November 15th, EXCEL will collect non-perishable food items at every one of our offices. Most-needed items include peanut butter, canned tuna fish, and canned fruits and vegetables.
Excel Orthopedic Physical Therapy (“EXCEL”), New Jersey’s premier provider of orthopedic physical therapy since 1990, last week opened an office at 555 S Livingston Avenue at the former site of historic Livingston retailer Sams Fine Men’s Clothing (“Sams”).

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ – Excel Orthopedic Physical Therapy (“EXCEL”), Northern New Jersey’s premier provider of orthopedic physical therapy for nearly 30 years, last week opened an office at 410 Springfield Avenue in Berkeley Heights, NJ. This spacious, open-concept physical therapy facility moved into the storefront next to Pet Supplies Plus, which longtime residents may recall has sat vacant for several years following prior tenant Drug Fair’s 2010 bankruptcy filing.
Excel Physical Therapy Continues to Expand New Jersey Footprint with Opening of Third Union County Location
Excel Orthopedic Physical Therapy, Northern New Jersey’s premier provider of orthopedic physical therapy for nearly 30 years, continues to expand its footprint in New Jersey with today’s opening of a Berkeley Heights office. Joining Summit and Westfield, the Berkeley Heights office now marks EXCEL’s third location in Union County and the company’s fourteenth overall.
Excel Orthopedic Physical Therapy continues to expand its Hip Specialty Program, with six physical therapists recently attaining credentials as Advanced Hip Clinicians. EXCEL’s Specialty Programs provide rigorous continuing education and ongoing learning opportunities for distinguished physical therapists who have declared an interest in treating specific patient populations.
An iconic men’s and boys’ clothing shop in Livingston is closing after 119 years, to be replaced by a physical therapy provider, a report says.
[SAMS owners] the Cohens confirmed that Excel Physical Therapy will move into their address, and expressed their confidence in the future success of this organization. They noted that they feel good about handing the keys over to an organization they feel will provide a much-needed service to the community, and are confident that the new business will be an excellent fit and for Livingston.
