Is Back Pain Slowing You Down?

We can help.

There are many reasons for back pain and everyone experiences pain differently. We understand this. This is why our experienced physical therapists create a plan of care that’s specific to you, your symptoms, and your goals.

What You Can Expect at Your First Visit

Motion Assessment

We observe how much movement you have bending backwards, forwards, and side-to-side (in your neck, mid-back, or low-back depending on what area is being treated).

Functional Assessment

Observing how you move during “functional tasks” such as sit-to-stand, reaching for objects, standing for periods of time, and transferring in and out of the car, etc.

Gait Evaluation

An assessment of how you walk. Low back pain can sometimes affect your walking mechanics or cause pain down your leg. The pain may cause you to walk differently (“crooked,” “off-center,” or with a “limp”) due to your body’s natural response to pain. We will evaluate the way you walk to help determine if your back pain is a contributing cause.
