OCS: Board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist
SCS: Board-certified Sports Clinical Specialist
Christopher first developed an interest in physical therapy in high school, following several sports-related injuries and their ensuing rehabilitation stints. He is a graduate of Quinnipiac University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science followed by a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Having realized that participating in professional sports was not in his future, a career in physical therapy has kept Chris involved in the sports arena, treating everyone from professional athletes to armchair athletes who have suffered orthopedic injuries.
Chris is one of few physical therapists to be board-certified by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) as both an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and a Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS). Additionally, he holds certifications from the Hospital for Special Surgery as an Advanced Hip Clinician, the TItleist Performance Institute as a Level 2 Medical Professional (TPI-MP2), and Functional Movement System’s Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA).
Drawing on his advanced skillset—as well as his passion for hockey, baseball, and golf—Chris treats athletes of all ages and skill levels. While he specializes in treating orthopedic and sports-related injuries of the hip, knee, and shoulder, Chris assesses and treats the entire body. He believes that determining and treating the source, rather than the site, of pain or injury is the key to both successful rehabilitation and mitigation of the risk for future injury.
Aside from playing golf and hockey, Chris enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is an avid fan of the Devils, Giants, and Yankees.

Congratulations to our new (and re-credentialed) Advanced Hip Clinicians! In order to be designated as an Advanced Hip Clinician, physical therapists (PTs) must attend the course, finish required and optional readings, and pass a post-course exam. These PTs demonstrate a passion for caring for all conditions of the hip coupled with a high degree of clinical knowledge and skill. #excelptnj #keepyoumovingforward #physicaltherapy
