Richard Jefferson

New Jersey Nets

An injury suffered during a violent fall in a game against the Detroit Pistons forced New Jersey Nets star forward Richard Jefferson to have reconstructive wrist surgery early in the 2004-05 NBA season. Unsure if he would be able to return to the team before the end of the season he chose EXCEL for his post-operative physical therapy. A few months later he was back on the court in time for the playoffs showing no residual sign of the significant injury he had suffered.

Richard Jefferson also returned to EXCEL following surgery to repair damage to his ankle which he incurred during the 2006-07 NBA season.
