New Jersey Devils center Adam Henrique scored the game-winning and series-clinching double-overtime goal against the Florida Panthers in Game 7 of the first round of the 2012 Stanley Cup playoffs. He then went on to score the game-winning and series-clinching overtime goal against the Rangers that sent the Devils to the 2012 Stanley Cup finals. The next season, however, he tore the Ulna Collateral ligament in his left thumb, which required surgery to repair it and he came to Excel Physical Therapy for all of his post-operative rehabilitation.
After a few weeks of intensive physical therapy, he was back on the ice with the Devils and scored a goal in his first game back with the NHL.
