Even though the fall sports season has already started, it doesn’t mean that these tips can’t help you get through the rest of your season safely. Matt Lucarello is the owner and program director of Parisi Speed School in Morristown. Matt has been working with the local community, providing research- based training to athletes of all sports, ages and ability levels to maximize efficiency and performance. Matt has trained a long list of local athletes who have gone on to Division I athletic programs. He is a licensed PT and passionate about creating resilience programs to reduce the risk of ACL injuries.
Brianne O’Connor, PT, DPT is the Clinic Director of EXCEL’s Morristown office location. Brianne graduated with honors from Columbia University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Prior to her graduate studies, Brianne was president of her Collegiate Club Volleyball team and a member of the Great American Volleyball beach league. In high school, Brianne was an all-state volleyball and basketball player. She was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at Saddle River Day School in 2013.

Injuries to the ACL are the most COMMON ligament injury in the knee. The rate of these injuries continues to grow among the athletic population as sports become faster and more competitive.
