| Jay Pandolfo of the Devils
sustained a fracture to his left thumb
during the first game of the 2003 Stanley
Cup finals. He continued to play in
all seven games of that series and helped
the Devils go on to win their third
Stanley Cup. He required surgery and
physical therapy immediately afterwards
and came to EXCEL Orthopedic Rehabilitation
where he recovered fully and was able
to get back on the ice in time for the
start of the following NHL season. |
