Young New Jersey Nets star Nenad Krstic suffered an injury during the playoffs of the 2004-05 season which required off-season surgery. He came to EXCEL for his post-operative physical therapy and recovered quickly enough to return to his native country of Serbia to play for his national team in the European games.

Nenad Krstc returned to EXCEL for physical therapy following surgery to repair a tear to his anterior cruciate ligament which he suffered early in the 2006-07 NBA season.
