star NBA point guard Jason Kidd
suffered an injury to his left
knee early in the 2004 basketball
season. Although he played the
entire year and helped lead the
Nets to the playoffs he underwent
micro-fracture surgery shortly
after the season ended. He came
to EXCEL for all of his post-operative
rehabilitation and was able to
return to the Nets lineup for
the start of the following season.
Although very few professional
athletes have successfully returned
to their sport following this
type of surgery Jason Kidd is
back on the court playing at the
same elite level that has earned
him multiple NBA awards and honors
throughout his career. |
