Christina’s path to her physical therapy career was unconventionally sparked at a seaport in New York City. It all started when Christina attended a viewing of Bodies: The Exhibition at South Street Seaport Pier 17. It was during this exhibition that she first realized her fascination with the inner workings and intricacies of the human body. Unsure exactly how to pursue this stirring interest, she enlisted in the Air Force where she began a career as an avionics technician. After being honorably discharged in 2007, Christina pursued a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at Rutgers University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She then earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University.
Christina is experienced in a diverse range of injuries, but having watched her father battle through back pain for most of her life, she is intrigued by injuries relating to the spine. Christina is certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment (MDT), which is an internationally acclaimed method and treatment for spinal and extremity pain. Currently, she is also enrolled in Temple University’s Orthopedic Residency program.
When taking a respite from work and education, Christina has ventured off as a solo traveler to Spain, Italy, France, and Monaco. Locally, Christina enjoys hiking with her pit bull rescue dog, Hazel, running, and practicing yoga.
