Christine graduated from Mercy College with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science. She also earned her Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from New York University. She has worked in a variety of physical therapy settings and has clinical experience working with the orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, geriatric, pulmonary and amputee populations. Prior to working at Excel Physical Therapy, most of her work experience has been in the NYC area.
Christine’s interest in pursuing physical therapy came from a desire to help patients feel better and improve their mobility. She believes in partnering with her patients to help them achieve their goals. The most important tool she can offer her patients is teaching them how to manage their pain outside of the clinical setting and after PT is completed.
She has a special interest in manual therapy and has taken several continuing education courses to develop her skills in the treatment of the spine, and upper/lower extremities. Christine also completed her Pilates instructor training at Jumping Frog Pilates in Tenafly, NJ, where she also taught Anatomy for Pilates and Pilates for injuries. She tries to incorporate the Pilates method in her PT treatments whenever possible.
In her spare time, Christine enjoys entertaining and spending time with her family and friends. She listens to all genres of music and tries to see it live whenever possible. She loves being outdoors and experiencing different cultures and food through travel. Christine tries to stay active by running and taking pilates and yoga classes. She has completed several half marathons and one full marathon. Christine is working towards completing the NYC marathon one more time, as well as more half marathons outside the tri-state area.
