Sara Elizondo, PT, MSPT
Westfield Clinic Director
NJ License # 40QA01670700
Sara grew up in the Saint Paul-Minneapolis area of Minnesota where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Minnesota. She went on to earn her Master of Physical Therapy at the College of Saint Catherine, now Saint Catherine’s University. She got her start at a Minnesota based outpatient spine care company, where she was able to learn the importance of committed leadership. After a decade and a half of building her physical therapy career in Minnesota’s Land of 10,000 Lakes, she and her husband took the leap and relocated to the Garden State.
Sara’s holistic approach and her interest in fitness, wellness and physical therapy began developing at a very young age. Growing up, she was actively involved in her community through community and church based volunteer work, while participating in a variety of athletics and other extracurricular activities such as coaching her children's youth track teams and holding a seat on their community athletic board for several years.
Sara’s career has been shaped by her passion for creating a welcoming clinic culture and an excellent physical therapy experience for every patient. She believes the best outcomes are achieved through individualized care and empowering patients with skills and confidence that last far beyond their time in the clinic.
When she’s not working, Sara enjoys listening to health and wellness podcasts, reading, working out typically with hiking, running, Peloton biking and doing core workouts; she loves exploring the city and cooking with her husband and daughter, traveling any time she gets the chance and spending time with family and friends.
