Alyssa’s passion and desire to become a physical therapist emerged during childhood. As an adolescent, Alyssa played a variety of sports, including basketball, volleyball, and track and field. Being an athlete taught Alyssa the importance of health and exercise and fueled a lifelong interest in these areas. When Alyssa’s older sister suffered a knee injury during a track and field event, Alyssa witnessed firsthand the vital role rehab therapists play in helping athletes heal and recover. These factors, combined with her passion for helping others, made a career in physical therapy the ideal match.
Alyssa’s clinical experience includes inpatient rehabilitation, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, and post-operative care. Alyssa has a special interest in manual therapy and enjoys working with a diverse patient population. She continually strives to expand her skillset and expertise with continuing education courses. Her mission is to provide her patients with the best possible quality of care.
In her free time, Alyssa enjoys being active. In addition to working out at a gym several times a week, she also likes to hike. Alyssa enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She has traveled to seven countries and is actively working her way around the globe.
