Excel Orthopedic Rehabilitation History

Competitive Ironman triathletes themselves, Matthew Gibble, P.T. and Gary Flink, P.T., founded EXCEL Orthopedic Rehabilitation in 1990 and today remain the sole financial owners and directors.

While working closely together at a sports medicine facility in New York City in the late 1980's, they envisioned the opening of a New Jersey based practice that would set the standards for providing high quality orthopedic physical therapy care.

In March, 1990, they opened the doors to their Fort Lee office. Since then, recognizing a need for high quality orthopedic physical therapy care in other areas of Bergen County and building on the model of their successful practice in Fort Lee, they opened additional offices in Oakland, Hackensack, Waldwick, Rutherford and Cresskill. Today, EXCEL remains one of the premier facilities in Bergen County, where many physicians confidently refer their patients for their rehabilitative needs.
